Young white wagtails

Found some young white wagtails  enjoying the summer sun setting on Tiilijärvi lake in Hollola, Finland.
Extraordinary - though ordinary - view from a Finnish lake. ;)

Curious case of the striped field mouse

Right where I live while sitting on the terrace on sunshine I saw this striped field mouse peeking out between the rocks. I think it saw me but didn't still rush anywhere as I managed get my camera and take a few shots. Funny little guy. Looked very young btw.

Bugs bugs bugs

One thing photographers love and hate in the summer time are bugs. Many times they make nice photos but sometimes they are just irritating as hell. You-know-what-I-mean....

But as my bug season is starting I'll bug you with some dandelions with bugs. ;)

Two of these are scentless plant bugs called Corizus Hyoscyami and the third one is a more common plant bug called Dolycoris baccarum.

Flycatcher

Flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca / kirjosieppo in finnish) bringing some food home.

This pretty little bird nested very near my parents house while the birdhouse was still on the ground waiting to be set to the tree. They set a small fence around the birdhouse and the bird uses the fence for observing the surroundings.

Walking in Spa

I was just walking in Spa (Belgium) and came across this lake,  Lac De Warfaaz. Going around it and just not seeing anything interesting. So I started looking out for any details or shapes which could interest in any way...

And after all I managed to take one shot of the lake too. Not obvious one though (with the sunset). ;)
